Sign up as an individual, get a work team or your school on board and join the Let’s Go Fresh Air Challenge this September.
Leave the car at home and choose active or sustainable travel - walk, bike, e-bike, bus, scooter, skate, e-scooter, ride-share, virtual meeting or save a journey and work from home for your commutes.
Each trip can be logged on the Fresh Air Challenge website and will be added to your dashboard, workplace and individual leaderboards where you can see how you are going against other individuals, schools and workplaces of similar size.
Large workplaces are able to set up teams for an internal competition, this helps team building, contributes to your health and wellbeing goals and encourages some friendly workplace competition!
Don’t have a workplace? Sign up and choose individual in the workplace list – you will feature on the individual leaderboard and will still be in to win some great prizes.
There are some fabulous offers and spot prizes up for grabs.
Check out some of 2021’s fabulous sponsors:
- Good Buzz Kombucha
- Neat NZ
- Shoe Clinic
- Malva Chocolate
- Taranaki Regional Council
- Todd Energy Aquatic Centre
- BLIP Scooters
This year we are offering a limited number of free BEE Cards (normally $5) with a $25 credit in the New Plymouth District to get you started for use in September. To take advantage of this offer, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
As much as the Let’s Go team believe exercise is important, the Fresh-Air Challenge is a commuting challenge to help assist in changing our behaviours around car use and encouraging more active travel and sustainable options, so unfortunately a bike ride around the mountain or a walk around the block for exercise does not count for this challenge.
Sign up below and be on your way to a fresher, active and healthier spring.
