Concessions and Benefits for Seniors

Holders of SuperGold Cards can travel for free on off-peak services (9am-3pm weekdays and all Saturday services) on Citylink buses. Passengers aged 65 or over, and without a Super Gold card, qualify for a Senior Citizens fare. Please show the driver your ID.

Park for free up to 11am, Mondays to Saturdays in all Council paid-parking spaces providing a SuperGold card or an alternative Council parking card is displayed on the dashboard. This does not apply to time-restricted parking spaces, e.g. P30 parks. Contact us for an alternative Council parking card.

If you plan to stay beyond 11am, purchase the extra time as you arrive, our handheld devices will register that you have paid beyond 11am.

Time limits still apply. For example, there is a two hour time limit on Devon Street, this limit still applies to SuperGold cardholders.

Scooter hire

Mobility scooters are available from the Todd Energy Aquatic Centre for use on the Coastal Walkway.

Scooter hire is free, but a bond, such as car keys, is required and it's best to book ahead. For enquiries and bookings please contact us.
