Brooklands Zoo

Charlie, our resident sulfur-crested Cockatoo, enjoys listening to the zookeeper's radio when it is too wet to be on display in the parrot garden. Go Charlie!

Brooklands Zoo is a FREE, family focused zoo which is home to a diverse variety of species including farmyard animals, reptiles and amphibians, oriental small-clawed otters, meerkats, a brolga, Bolivian Squirrel Monkeys, Capuchins and Cotton-top Tamarins as well as a selection of colourful birds housed inside a walk-through free-flight aviary. We have more than 113,000 visitors annually and look forward to seeing you!

Occasionally we have to close due to events at the TSB Bowl of Brooklands. This is so we can make sure all animals, reptiles, amphibians and birds are safe and comfortable. Upcoming closures:

  • 1 March - The Hollies
  • 4 March - 22 March - WOMAD
  • 30 March - 1 April at 1pm - Harvest Moon
