Community Board Plans Review

In 2017 each Community Board developed their own community board plan through extensive community engagement.

The purpose of the community board plans is to build on the New Plymouth District Blueprint and facilitate a more integrated approach to planning, infrastructure development and community development in each community board’s area. Each Community Board Plan highlights the board’s vision and their community aspirations and issues over 1-3 years, 3-10 years and 10+ years. These plans are a useful reference for staff when planning for new projects as they identify what is important to a community with regards to local government facilities and infrastructure.

It is now time for each Community Board to review their plan to ensure that it is current and consistent with their community aspirations and issues, and priorities re-evaluated and they want to hear from you.

With the current COVID-19 situation, it is not possible for Community Board’s to undertake face-to-face community engagement, so they are seeking feedback via online survey only until further notice.

The surveys have been designed to be used on a computer, tablet or mobile phone and should take approximately 6 minutes to complete.
