Working for NPDC
At New Plymouth District Council we know that having a fantastic culture is vital to serving our community and to creating our vision to Build a Lifestyle Capital. Everything we do is guided by our four values. With this in mind, we look to employ those who truly demonstrate our values:
Mana Tangata - respecting each other - We know how important it is to respect and trust our colleagues. We are honest with each other and always aim to act with integrity.
Oranga Tangata - achieving wellness – We connect with our colleagues and look out for each other. Work life balance is encouraged, as we care about the wellness of our work family.
Kotahitanga - working together - Team work is essential at NPDC. Working as one team lets us overcome challenges together, resulting in the delivery of outstanding results for our community.
Hāpaitanga - making a difference - We are here to make a difference in our community. We constantly strive for excellence, we are accountable for our actions and are proud to serve this amazing place.
Everything we do, we do for the benefit of the district. From looking after our natural environment to providing services and facilities for our residents and visitors, and helping build our economy, NPDC is here for the New Plymouth District.
