Aims: Membership is open to people with disabilities to become self-advocate for those who are unable to be self-advocate. To encourage participation in society and community affairs. To promote changes which help people with disabilities to participate equally in the community.

Aims: Promote the development of traditional Okinawan Karate in New Zealand, in line with the standards and requirement of the United Ryukyu Kempo Alliance international governing body. Okinawan Karate is descended from Taika Seiyu Oyata.

Lifeskills activities are designed to improve confidence and skills (e.g. cooking, gardening, crafts, computing). Community participation including supporting and encouraging clients to involve themselves in community activities (swimming and fitness, etc).
