Aims: Membership is open to people with disabilities to become self-advocate for those who are unable to be self-advocate. To encourage participation in society and community affairs. To promote changes which help people with disabilities to participate equally in the community.

Aims: To empower consumers of health and disability services, to voice their complaints/concerns, by providing information and support that will allow resolution at the lowest level possible.

Aims: The Cancer Society of New Zealand is committed to improving community well being by reducing the incidence and impact of cancer. Our core services are in the areas of health promotion, support, information and research. Services include support, advice and advocacy for people with cancer and their families, transport to and from treatments, support groups, workshops, education programmes, information and resources, gazebos and sun umbrellas for loan, discounted sunscreen, hats and sunglasses for sale and scholarships.
