Festival of gardens and gardeners

The Taranaki Rhododendron Festival is recognised as this country’s finest regional celebration of gardeners and gardens.

Almost 50 gardens open their gates during this popular garden festival. Showcasing some of the most outstanding gardens, parks and open spaces in New Zealand, the festival includes the highest number of gardens of National and Regional Significance in the country.

This year's festival will take place from 31 October to 9 November 2008.

Taranaki Arts Festival Trust (TAFT) has run the event since 2004.
