Monica Brewster Club

Choi Jeong-hwa, a Seoul-based artist and designer, will be the speaker at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery’s Monica Brewster Club on Tuesday 4 September.

Known for his colourful large-scale installations and architectural interventions, Choi Jeong-hwa will be responsible for the spectacular exhibition design of the Govett-Brewster’s upcoming exhibition 'Activating Korea: Tides of collective action'.

Choi’s work has featured in biennales worldwide including Venice, São Paulo, Yokohoma, Liverpool and Gwangju as well as at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Last year he was involved in 'don't misbehave! SCAPE 2006 Biennial of Art in Public Space' in Christchurch.

Presented in association with Govett Quilliam the Lawyers, the Monica Brewster Club offers an evening of exceptional speakers, art food and wine. Everyone is welcome.
