The Todd Energy Aquatic Centre is on Tisch Ave with additional pedestrian access off the Coastal Walkway.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday
Public swimming 6.00am–8.15pm
Lane swimming 6.00am–10.00am and 5.00pm–8.15 pm
Fitness Gym 6.00am to 8.15pm
Fitness Gym weights room only, 9am-10am Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Weekends and public holidays
Public swimming 7.00am–6.45pm
Lane swimming 7.00am–10.00am and 5.00pm–6.45pm
Fitness Gym 8.30am to 5.30pm

HAVING FUN AND KEEPING FIT AT THE TODD ENERGY AQUATIC CENTRE

Programmes for all

The wide range of programmes on offer at the Todd Energy Aquatic Centre cater for fitness fanatics and competitive swimmers through to recreational swimmers and water sports enthusiasts.

There is a range of concession cards and discounts available. Visit our prices page for more information.

Aquarobics

Shallow water: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.00am-10.00am. Monday and Thursday 7.00pm-8.00pm.

Deep water with buoyancy belt: Tuesday and Thursday 9.15am-10.00am and 5.45pm-6.45pm.

Pre and post natal: Tuesday and Thursday 10.30am-11.15am (medical certificate required).

Fifties forward fitness

Low impact exercise for the over fifties.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am–10am.

New Plymouth Aquatic Swim Club

Tuesday 6.30pm-8.00pm. Please call the Aquatic Centre for details.

Learn to swim

Swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. Find out more about prices and classes.

Coaching

Professional swim coach Anita Kitto runs training squads for juniors graduating from our swim school through to performance level. She also runs adult and womens squads and does one on one coaching.

School Activity Education Programme
