Meetings

Council meetings, as well as committees, subcommittees and community boards are formal meetings run in accordance with the law and the Council's standing orders.

The public cannot join in the debate or discussion but you can speak during the public comment and deputation times.

All Council, committee and subcommittee meetings are held at the Civic Centre, Liardet St, New Plymouth and the public are welcome to attend.

The full Council, Monitoring Committee and Policy Committee meetings are streamed live and available to watch on video.

• The Mayor, councillors and members of the committee/subcommittee/community board.
• Council officers.
• Other elected members.
• Members of the public.
• The media.
