Council-Controlled Bodies

Council-controlled bodies are organisations which we have a 50 per cent or greater shareholding, or level of governance control over.

Forestry Joint Ventures

We have four joint venture forestry developments.

New Plymouth Airport

New Plymouth Airport is a 50:50 joint venture between the Crown and the council.

Taranaki Investment Management Limited

Taranaki Investment Management Limited (TIML) is 100 per cent owned by the council with independent directors.

Venture Taranaki

Venture Taranaki is a council-controlled organisation with a governing board appointed by us.

Yarrow Stadium Trust

The Yarrow Stadium Trust is a charitable trust and a council-controlled organisation under the Local Government Act 2002.
