Graffiti Vandalism Policy

Reference: P08-007
Status: Approved by the Council on 9 December 2009

Objective - Graffiti free district.

Policy - Zero tolerance of graffiti vandalism which can be seen from a public space and placed on unauthorised surfaces.

Level of Service - Removal of all graffiti (by best available means) which can be seen from a public space - such as a road, reserve, walkway or car park - regardless of whether the graffiti is on public or private property within a 24 hour working period of the graffiti being reported.

Reviewed three yearly (next review 2012).
