Inglewood-NP Bus Service

THE INGLEWOOD-NP BUS

A weekly bus service runs between Inglewood and New Plymouth every Thursday.

Operated by Tranzit Coachlines (with assistance from the Taranaki Regional Council and Land Transport New Zealand), the service gives residents and visitors access to retailers and other services not available locally.

Weekly Thursday service

Inglewood to New Plymouth

10.00am Departs Inglewood (cnr Cutfield and Rata streets)
10.10am Departs Egmont Village (Egmont Diary)
10.35am Arrives New Plymouth (Ariki Street Bus Station)

New Plymouth to Inglewood

2.10pm Departs New Plymouth (Ariki Street Bus Station)
2.30pm Departs Egmont Village (Egmont Service Station)
2.45pm Arrives Inglewood (cnr Cutfield and Rata streets)

The service has been timed to arrive at Ariki Street five minutes before CityBus departures to other parts of the city.

Fare

$5 Inglewood - New Plymouth (one way)
$3 Inglewood - Egmont Village (one way)
$3 Egmont Village - New Plymouth (one way)
Super Gold Card holders travel for free.

Bookings

Bookings are preferred but the bus can be hailed from anywhere on the route.
