Pouakai Zoo


Aims: To continue providing the largest collection of primates of any privately owned zoo in New Zealand. Many other exotic animals(including three Lions and White Royal Bengal Tigers on display) and birds. Bush walk. Lion feeding at 1.30pm.

Prices: Adults $15, children (5 to 14 years) $5, under 5s FREE
Hours: Tuesday to Sunday 10.00am to 4.30pm, including public holidays. Not open Mondays with the exception of public holidays that fall on a Monday.
