Finding the Fernery

A hidden treasure

The Fernery and Display Houses are located within Pukekura Park near the Rogan and Fillis street entrances (look for signs near the Tea House on the Lake).

There are two entrances into the complex:

• Horton Walk Entrance.
• Fred Parker Lawn. 

Wheelchair and stroller access is possible on the upper mezzanine of the Display Houses via the Horton Walk entrance. See our plan of the Fernery and Display Houses. Arrangements can be made for vehicle access to this entrance by phoning Fernery staff on 06-759 6060.

Opening hours

8.30am - 4.00pm daily, except Christmas Day.

Tours

Free tours are available seven days a week. Contact us or call
06-759 6060 to arrange.

The Friends of the Park run a buggy service for tours of Pukekura Park. Contact us to find out more.
