Help protect the environment

People with an interest in the environment and who wish to help protect and safeguard our natural resources for future generations, are invited to join the New Plymouth District Environment Network (NPDEN).

 

The aims of the environment network are to:

  • Work to progress environmental issues within the district.
  • Work collaboratively for strength.
  • Share information and best practice.
  • Increase information on environmental issues to the wider public.

The environment network operates as an email group that enables members to:

  • Send requests to the network for assistance with projects.
  • Ask questions.
  • Promote and gain support for initiatives.
  • Receive information from council and other network members on related topics.
  • Link with people with specialist knowledge.

How do I join the environment network?
