Rural Domain Funding Scheme

The purpose of this scheme is to assist with the maintenance and operation costs of the following Council-owned and/or administered rural domains: Okato, Upper Mangorei, Urenui Comunity, Tarata, Uruti, Pukeho, Tariki, Huirangi, Okoki and Purangi.  Funds can be granted for one-off projects and general operations.

To be eligible for assistance the domain liaison committees are required to forward a copy of their previous year's annual accounts with the application.

Each year during August/September, letters seeking applications are sent to the various committees. The applications are then considered and a programme is finalised. The process is usually completed by mid-September.
