Parks and Reserves Management Plans

Our parks and reserves management plans identify the appropriate mix of uses and activities within each reserve and guide their day-to-day management.

 

Cemeteries Management Plan

The Cemeteries Management Plan has been developed to identify appropriate uses and activities within each cemetery and assist with day to day management and decision making.

 

Coastal Reserves Management Plan 2006

This plans sets out objectives and policies for each reserve in order to provide guidance about how these reserves will be managed.

 

Historic Reserves Management Plan

The Historic Reserves Management Plan has been developed to identify appropriate uses and activities within each historic reserve and assist with day to day management and decision making and is a statutory document prepared under the Reserve Act 1977.

 

Lake Mangamahoe Management Plan

This management plan has been developed to identify appropriate uses and activities at Lake Mangamahoe and assist with day to day management and decision making. It sets out objectives and policies for the use, development and protection of the area.

 

New Plymouth District Neighbourhood Reserves Management Plan

The New Plymouth District Neighbourhood Reserves Plan outlines how our 33 neighbourhood parks and reserves in New Plymouth District (excluding Waitara) will be managed. The plan inlcudes development concepts for each park or reserve.

 

Pukekura Park Management Plan

The Pukekura Park Management Plan 2004 provides a clear vision, direction and mandate for the current and future management of the park.

 

Sports Parks Management Plan

The Sports Parks Management Plan has been developed to identify appropriate uses and activities at sports parks within the New Plymouth district and assist with day to day management and decision making. It sets out objectives and policies for the use, development and protection of each park.

 

Tongaporutu Reserve Management Plan

The Tongaporutu Recreation Reserve Management Plan helps us manage the Tongaporutu Recreation Reserve.

 

Waitara Neighbourhood Parks Management Plan

The Waitara Neighbourhood Parks Management Plan outlines how the six neighbourhood parks in Waitara will be managed. The plan inlcudes development concepts for each park or reserve.
