New Plymouth District Plan Updates

Update 3 to the New Plymouth District Plan is now available.

Updates are made in keeping with the Resource Management Act, and include the correction of minor errors, the reflection of minor changes in the district planning environment, and the reflection of council resolutions on formal Plan Changes. Update 3 includes Plan Changes 1, 8 and 9. Printed pages will be distributed shortly to those who subscribe to District Plan updates.

The District Plan on our website was updated on Friday 7 November 2008. The schedule of ‘Unprinted Updates’ will be changed from Update 3 to Update 4 shortly on the District Plan web page to notify plan users of any subsequent changes. Update 4 to the District Plan is likely to be printed and distributed to those who subscribe at some point in 2009.

Anyone can purchase a copy of the District Plan by contacting the council. The District Plan is available free of charge via the our website, and hard copies can be viewed at council service centres and libraries.
