Where to Park

There are a range of Council-managed on-street and off-street parking areas conveniently located in and around New Plymouth’s CBD.

The off-street parking options offer both casual and leased car parks at affordable rates and no time limits. These areas are clearly marked with blue signage.

The Council-managed parking areas are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day (unless otherwise stated below) and are free on Sundays and public holidays.

Off-street casual and leased parking

There are 12 Council-managed off-street parking areas in New Plymouth’s CBD. All provide casual pay and display parks with no time limits, starting at only $1 / hour.

A leased car park offers convenience at an affordable rate – park in the CBD from only $4 a day.
