Facilities: The hall has a total area of 313m² and includes a kitchen, separate dining room, toilets (including an accessible toilet), the main hall itself (net area of 162m²) and a storage room. The hall has a capacity of 270 people and has electric heating.

Casual users: Hall users that book a hall for a one off event; one that does not occur on a regular (weekly, monthly or annual) basis.
Regular users (Category 1): Hall users that have a regular (weekly, monthly or annual) booking and have a membership that contains less than 60 per cent children and superannuitants
Regular users (Category 2): Hall users that have a regular (weekly, monthly or annual) booking and have a membership that contains 60 per cent or more children and superannuitants.
Note, children are under 14 years of age.

History

The land was acquired in 1975 by the Crown with further land being acquired by the Council in 1976. All the land has subsequently transferred to Council administration. Since 2002 the Taranaki Multiple Sclerosis Society has leased the former New Zealand Scout Association office for five years and has another right of renewal for five years.
