Fitzroy Community Hall

Facilities: The hall can cater for up to 250 people. It has changing facilities and a moveable stage. The hall area is around 387m2 with additional supper/meeting room capacity. Ramp suitable for wheelchairs, accessible toilet, full kitchen facilities plus separate bar.

History

The Fitzroy Joint Venture Hall is a joint venture between the Council and the Fitzroy School and was erected in 1973. The hall is owned by the Council but is on Ministry of Education land. The hall can be used by the school during the day and one night per week. Both the Council and the Ministry contribute to the maintenance of the hall. The hall is administered by a committee.
