Being the owner of a well-trained dog is a truly enriching experience. On the other hand, an untrained dog can be a nightmare! If you're having problems with your dog, our Animal Control Officers may be able to help.

It is highly recommended that all dog owners take themselves and their dogs to obedience classes. These classes are useful for socialising your dog in a controlled environment, and for learning how to control your dog.

The North Taranaki Dog Training Club provides obedience classes (introductory through to grade four), agility classes (introductory to senior), and flygility classes.
