Migrant's Issues

We take an active role in our partnership with Settlement Support New Plymouth to support, recognise and raise awareness of issues relating to migrants.

Race Relation Day and International Migrants Day are both celebrated annually. A number of Council initiatives have taken place encouraging staff to embrace cultural differances and lead by example in our community.
