Creative Communities

To be successful, applicants for support under the Creative Communities Scheme must show that their proposed project meets one or more of these three funding criteria:

Broad community involvement – the project will create opportunities for local communities to engage with and participate in arts activities.

Diversity – the project will support the diverse arts and cultural traditions of local communities, enriching and promoting their uniqueness and cultural diversity.

Young people – the project will enable and encourage young people (under18 years) to engage and actively participate in the arts.

Funding will be available as grants and are usually for amounts between $500 and $2500.

Funding is allocated twice a year. Both individuals and groups are eligible to apply.
