Under the impounding Act 1955 (stock control) the following fees apply:

• Fee per impounding per owner - $62.00 plus $5.00 per stock unit (SU).
  Actual costs assuming one hour of officer time.
• Poundage fee per impounding per owner (repeat impounding) - $88.00 plus $7.50 per stock unit.
  Actual costs plus 50% penalty.
• Sustenance fee per stock unit per day - $2.00.
• Driving / converyance of stock to pound or other place - actual costs.

Charges assume a sheep or goat = 1SU, calf or deef = 2SU, dairy or beef cattle = 5SU.
